Special events and fundraisers are organized by outside parties to benefit JWF. Event hosts vary from individuals, companies and corporations, kids groups, community groups and more. Events include, but are not limited to, sporting events such as golf or fishing tournaments, silent auctions, percentage of sales, grand openings and much more.

Whenever a group or individual is proposing to raise funds for JWF, we ask that you complete the Fundraising Proposal and Licensing Agreement before you can associate JWF with the event.

Our Captains are vital to JWF’s mission to make fishing dreams come true. If you are in the Florida Keys we always need captains to bring individuals on the water for a much needed break from their reality. We also know that some of our biggest auction items are fishing trips. Whether its in the Florida Keys or another fishing destination we greatly appreciate and need support.

Special event volunteers plan, organize and implement successful fundraising events by working on event committees, helping on the event day and/or participating in the event.

The foundation is picking up the pace on our local trash clean ups. If this is something you would like to participate in we always need hands.

Use your skills on an as-needed basis. This volunteer should have professional knowledge of the skill. Needed skills include reading or writing in multiple languages, graphic design, photography, carpentry, interior design, landscaping and more.

Currently the foundation offers four different events with great sponsorship opportunities available. Those include our Spanish Fly Music Festival, Fish For Jose, Spanish Fly Shark Tournament, and Spanish Fly Sleigh Party. If interested contact [email protected].
